The Zoom Bridge Modem is an ADSL 2/2+ modem with an Ethernet interface to a computer or a router. The Model 5615 provides a very stable system installation with a simplified set of configuration options to ensure problem free operation. The Bridge Modem works with any operating system which supports an Internet browser. The Zoom Bridge Modem automatically detects the ADSL network settings.

Save to nvram, and after the reboot check the web status page. Okay, the configuration is a bit awkward, and doesn't require the disk at all. From there use PPPoE settings with your ISP username and password in your router/pc.I was very happy to see this work well and is now my preferred ADSL/2+ modem. Set your computer's ethernet port to use 10.0.0.4/240 and connect to http://10.0.0.2/ (user: admin -- pwd: zoomadsl ). then go into basic settings and set to use manual configuration with a VPI of 0 and a VCI of 32 (for Qwest controlled lines). I'm using it with a WRT54GL router flashed with the Tomato firmware. It's an excellent combination for home and SOHO chores.
I beg to differ with the previous (and only other) reviewer. My computer is a dual core iMAC with Intel processor and the Zoom modem works fine with my Airport Extreme base station.The installation was not real intuitive, but other than that I'm very pleased with the modem.
That was only partially true. After reading the various reviews of this product, it seemed to be exactly what I wanted. The literature stated it worked on Mac OS X. The product runs only on Mac PPC computers. It does not run on Intel processors, and the instruction included on the disk only are readable on classic.Adsl 2/2+ Bridge Modem/ Enet
